    Minimimått och fredningstider

    Minimimåtten sätts så att individer i bestånden skall kunna reproducera sig minst en gång innan de riskerar att fångas. Även maximimått förekommer.

    För en del arter finns även fredningstider, oftast under lekperioden, som till exempel för hummer och öring.

    Fredningsområden

    För att öka skyddet under lek och lekvandring inrättas så kallade fredningsområden där endast sådana redskap är tillåtna som inte fångar den art som skyddet avser.

    För att minska det totala fisketrycket på ett bestånd begränsas i vissa fall även mängden redskap som får användas eller hur många fiskar som får fångas.

    Gräsön – A Vivid Island

    Gräsön is a real gem at the northern coast of Roslagen and Uppland. Here you will find a beautiful landscape, a pristine archipelago, vacationers and privacy. Explore the island by foot, bike or kayak to experience more. If you are traveling by car, make sure to leave the vehicle in an appropriate place. Show consideration and you will be met by consideration!

    You can take the car ferry from Öregrund over to the island. The ferry is free of charge and runs basically every half hour all year round.

    Gräsö information building

    Close to the ferry landing you will find Gräsö gård, a farm and a hostel also housing an information building. Here you will find information regarding what to see and the experiences available on Gräsön, and how to get to some of the places worth visiting for their natural or cultural beauty, or both!

    Next to the building there is a car park, a picnic table and a toilet. The area is accessible for the disabled.

    Tourist and collective fishing permits

    From the far north to south in Sweden, there are several fishing areas that collect the permission to fish under a larger, coordinated fishing permit. These are often called municipal fishing licenses (kommunfiskekort) or tourist fishing kort, but can also have a name based on the geographical area they apply to (eg Frostviken or Funäsdalen).

    These give you as an angler a unique opportunity to explore and access very large areas to fish in - on a single fishing permit! On this page we collect the fishing permits of this type that we sell at iFiske, listed from north to south.

    Remember to carefully study the boundaries of the maps and, above all, the fishing rules. Sometimes these are common and apply to the whole fishing area, but often there are local additions and deviations.
