The Tunnel (Norwegian: Tunnelen) is a Norwegian disasterthriller film directed by Pål Øie.[1] The film follows the WSV driver Stein, played by Thorbjørn Harr, during a tunnel fire in a 9 kilometer long road tunnel. This movie is a remake of Hollywood movie Daylight ().[2]
During The Kanon Award , the film won the Audience Award and was also nominated in the category to Best Producer (John Einar Hagen and Einar Loftesnes) and Best Sound Design (Hugo Ekornes).[3][4] During the Amanda Award , Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes won the class for Best Supporting Actress for the film.[5]
